CONCLUSION

I had to make a few alterations to the way I worked, while doing the experiment, like using ½ a volt for all of them (This is because if it went any higher the ammeters dial would go off the scale because of not enough resistance so too much current. Another one is having the results of copper from my teacher because I could not get any results from the ammeter when I tried copper. (I worked out how to get ½ a volt because the teacher only gave us 1 and 2 volt results.

My hypothesis was basically correct about the thinner and longer wires having the biggest resistance. (Plus I knew that copper had a lower resistance than nichrome because of a previous experiment 2 years ago where my teacher told me!)

After changing those few things I did, there is not really much difference to how I would do the experiment again except ask the teacher for more wires so there is more results.

There does not seem to be any `ODD` results (Although that’s only what I think!) and they all went according to plan.
